Venice Italy Black White Print - Romantic views and architecture exist just about everywhere in Italy. My dream is to retire to Italy and have some land. I love the architecture, people, food and beauty of Italy. Wandering the landscape and discovering small towns and cities reconnects me to my soul. In Venice, everything looks surreal in a way, because there is no city like it. It can often be crowded and I love moments when it is less so. I love the architecture surrounding Piazza San Marco or St. Mark's Square. In this image, you can see St. Theodore and Doge's Palace which dates to Medieval times.
