Enjoy this wall art print of Santa Monica Beach. This is the beach of my childhood and 20's when I religiously skated up and down the boardwalk after work in Brentwood. The Pacific Ocean has almost disappeared in this art print of beachgoers riding up the coastal bike path. This bucolic scene is marred by a piece of white trash in the foreground. I have intentionally not removed it. This image looks like a painting.

Stretching over three miles of coastline west of downtown Los Angeles, Santa Monica Beach is a haven for sun worshippers, beach lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts. With its soft, sandy shores, sparkling Pacific Ocean waters, and iconic Santa Monica Pier, it's no wonder this beach is a world-famous destination.
The beach itself is divided into two sections by the Santa Monica Pier. The northern section offers a wide, sandy beach perfect for sunbathing, building sandcastles, or playing beach volleyball. There's also a bike path that runs along the entire coastline, making it a great place for a leisurely cruise on wheels.
The southern section of the beach is a bit more lively, with beach rentals for kayaks, paddleboards, and surfboards. If you're looking to catch a wave, this is the spot for you. And of course, no trip to Santa Monica Beach would be complete without a visit to the Santa Monica Pier. This historic landmark is home to Pacific Park, a traditional amusement park with rides, games, and arcades. There's also an aquarium, a carousel, and plenty of shops and restaurants.
In addition to all of the activities mentioned above, there are a few other things to keep in mind when planning your trip to Santa Monica Beach. The beach is busiest in the summer months, so if you're looking for a quieter experience, try to visit during the shoulder seasons (spring or fall). And be sure to pack sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat – the California sun can be quite strong!
Here are some other things to do near Santa Monica Beach:

Take a walk or bike ride on the Marvin Braude Bike Trail, which runs along the coast from Santa Monica to Venice Beach.

Hike to the top of the Santa Monica Mountains for panoramic views of the city and the ocean.
