Great Compact Suitcase! Thanks, Tumi. Jan 27, 2011
By My Three Sons As expected, this Tumi case is nice. I've used it several times now, and it is surprising how much it can hold. I've packed a week's worth of stuff in this bag, and it still had plenty of room to fit the stuff I bought while away. It's expandability is what is so impressive, not to mention its well-constructed wheels and handle. If you are a light traveler and you are like me and appreciate a variety of pockets, pouches and sections for different articles of clothing, then you will like this bag. Although my review might leave you with the impression that this bag, itself, is large, it is not. It's small and compact, but it has tremendous capacity. Great buy!

I actually listened to Mom in this case and am glad I did - go figure. Mar 21, 2012

I was first made aware of Tumi products, i.e. travel gear, by my parents and aunts. They all did a lot of travel and Tumi has been their old stand-by for quite sometime now. They all recommended this stuff. Now I have not always listened to my parents and elders, I will be the first to admit that and they can all testify to that fact, but in this case I did, and I must tell you that I am glad I did. (This of course makes me wonder if I shouldn't have listened more in other areas - perhaps my life would not be in such a wretched mess if I had). Anyway... I have taken up the family tradition and the bag being reviewed here, the Tumi T-Tech Presidio is one of my favorites and I keep it in pretty constant use.
I do a lot of traveling, both business and pleasure and pretty much travel around the world. At times I am not sure what country or city I am waking up in. One constant though, at this time, is this bag.
This bag weighs only about 9 ½ pounds and I must tell you that it actually looks very small. Don't let that fool you though. This little sucker can hold a lot of stuff. If I pack correctly (If you travel a lot, this is a skill you need to learn), I can stash six days of clothing and accessories with no problem. I have it down to the point that I utilize every square inch effectively. Please keep in mind that I am a very light traveler and through the years have learned to leave the junk at home. I carry only what is absolutely necessary and prudent to get the job done. If I need frills, I purchase them where I finally land.
The pulling handle on this works very smoothly and the wheels function better than any bag I have ever owned...there is no problem here what so ever. I love the fold out suit section and the small storage front pocket...it is extremely easy to organize this carry-on.
I can attest to the fact that this thing is well built as it has been bashed and trashed and abused by not only countless baggage handlers (bless their hearts), but by me also. I have yet been able to destroy it.
The bag is attractive without being obtrusive and "showy," keeping a very low profile which is a feature I demand. Showy bags have a way of walking away from you when you are no looking.
I have been very satisfied with this piece of luggage.

Can't go wrong with Tumi Jun 26, 2011
By mike_gee Another quality item from Tumi. I have various other Tumi pieces and this is a great addition. The zippers are strong, the fabric is touch, great seems and tons of space.
Great Carry-On Mar 02, 2012
By EchoBridge I was able to fit about 6 days of warm weather clothing along with my iPad & accessories into this case without having to use the expansion zipper. This along with another small under seat bag was all I needed for an 8-day cruise. It's a really nice case. If I were to change anything, I think it's a little bit heavy empty, but I'm sure it's necessary for durability.
