This is the best carry-on I've ever owned. The build quality is exceptional. The materials used are top-notch. The zippers pull smoothly and seem hearty, robust and unlikely to snag or break. It is quite roomy inside. The 4-wheels roll super-smooth with excellent balance. It looks super-sharp, too. I got it for $270 on Amazon which is the best price I've seen for it anywhere.

Tumi Vapor is a well built, lightweight carry-on case. The zipper and the case itself are very strong and durable. Wheels work fine on almost any surface. Of course, like any other Tumi product, it's registered to the owner's name with a serial number which is used to retrieve lost luggage. Compared to Samsonite Cosmolite feels better built and stronger, albeit probably more prone to get scratches. Overall, recommended.

I am new to traveling with only a carryon. Turns out to be a great minimalist experience. This bag was given to me by wife. I have used it once on a 5000+ mile trip through 3 airports each way and it has stood up well. Carried on to 2 flights and walked through 3 airports with it and checked in through 3 airports Obviously, I can't address long term sturdiness, but on this first voyage it served me well. The wheels roll freely either 2 or 4 on the ground. Handles are sturdy and easily extended. Space inside was adequate for our 8 day journey. Fits easily in the overhead compartment, didn't try it under the seat ahead of me. Construction appears and feels solid. The locking mechanism is workswell. The zipper works well, but do need to be aware of keeping bottom and top aligned to get the zipper to work well. My wife got me the bronze colored and that worked well because it looked different from most of the other bags. All and all a very good gift and purchase.

nice looking bag, wheels and lock work great.
my only real complaint is a side pocket for documents and passport would be nice so you don't have to open up the whole thing.
likewise, a couple more zippers inside would make it easier to the arrange of electronics and cords we all use.
