Great slim backpack. Sep 29, 2010
By Pasijuhani Tonteri Perfect for my iPad and basic essentials. If you like to carry a lot, this is not for you. My iPad fits with plenty of room left so I think a Macbook or a similar slim laptop would be fine as well. A newspaper, magazine, paper planner (thick), bulky headphones, a couple of chargers, bulky sunglasses and that's about it. But it is so wonderfully slim you don't feel like an elephant in a porcelain shop. And if need be it can be stuffed a bit for times when you have more to carry. Plenty of pockets for great organizing. My only gripe is the brass hardware. As good as it looks (and will probably last forever) it can be hard on your knuckles while digging for stuff in the small pockets.

Best backpack around. May 17, 2011
By Ryan S. Tumi bags are unrivaled. The level of quality that is associated with these bags is amazing. I use this for business and pleasure. It fits my 15" MacBook Pro and iPad comfortably.

leaks in light rain - bad for commuters Sep 25, 2011
By athena_ak The TUMI sales associate claimed this backpack is water resistant -- it is NOT. I stood in light drizzle, under an umbrella, for 5 minutes while waiting for a shuttle, and my laptop had water on it. I dried it off and it happened again in my five-minute walk home from the subway. These zippers should not have been used in an upward-facing position because they leak profusely. Really too bad, because it's otherwise an attractive, slender-profiled and comfortable backpack, but for this price it should not have such a major design flaw.

Pretty awesome, but ... Nov 13, 2011
By Olaf Wernicke ... you know, what ever you carry around on a day-to-day base better fits your needs perfectly - right ? I travel a lot for work - a lot on business, ... so a LV briefcase is just too pretentious. So, I got myself a nice "Porsche Design" backpack and that did the trick for a while, until the zipper gave up B-cause I stuffed too much stuff into it. Anyway, I needed a new one: ... TUMI is pretty cool here, down in TX - so, I kind of fell slowly in love with that back-pack: ... nice: you can store your passport behind the middle zipper - and your bloody keys in the left front pocket and still having the right front pocket for a bottle H2O ... - that's great: whenever you need something: it's right where you zipped it away. ... but: ... zippers to both outside pockets are off - totally off - like eating your cereal with your other hand = off. Please reverse those zippers of the two outside pockets immediately - it's the difference btw. a Ford Mustang and a Porsche - the Mustang drives you nuts, and the Porsche makes you feel home. And, that tag thing: NO !! - please: it could be such a cool back-pack, but that cheap China-Made name tag is just too much. This is not check-in luggage - does not need a tag. ... it's just too much lip-stick on an otherwise beautiful woman. ... and: how can AMAZON sell it 20 buck cheaper than the TUMI Store - is you marketing VP paying attention here ??
