Hooray for Three Dots! Nov 24, 2010

I absolutely love Three Dots and Red Dot tee shirts. Here's why:
1) The cotton is high quality -- if these were sheets, they would be like a 300 thread count
2) Washes well. I launder in the gentle cyle, in either cold or warm. Tumble dry for just a few minutes to get the wrinkles out, then hang dry. The shirt retains it's shape. The shirts don;t get hole, or pill up. They really last well. Ober time, the darler colors will fade a bit.
3)The cut is flattering for all figures. The Deep V neck cut is nice, but the boatneck (British style tee) is the most flattering.
4) Three Quarter Sleeves: Oh how I love three quarter sleeves: elegant yet casual. Good for cool weather as well as warm. And hear this women of a certain age: three quarter sleeves cover up the forearm jiggle!
5) The British Style Tee can be dressed up with jewelry and nice slacks for a nice night out.
6) All Three Dot and Red Dot Tee Shirts are MADE AND MANUFACTURED IN THE USA!
I own about twenty of these shirts -- have most in black, a few in Ocean Blue (a deep, rich navy), grey, lavender and brown. The grey is disappointing and blah- like sweatshirt color grey. The fabric used for the grey is also slightly different than the other color shirts (not as nice).
Caveat: the cut runs small on THREE DOTS. I have to wear an extra large, when I usually wear a large in other manufacturer tees. But for a fuller cut, the "Red Dot" line is perfect.
Overall, the cost to quality on this tee is excellent. Stick with the dark colors -- they are a bit nicer.

I don't think I could possibly overstate how wonderful Three Dots tees are - especially the British tee. I agree with everything the other reviewer says (great quality, comfortable, flattering), but I would like to add that this shirt also works well for a business casual work environment. I didn't buy it with that expectation, but with nice jewelry and slacks, you can definitely get away with it. So despite the somewhat high price point (at least by my standards), the quality and versatility of this shirt make it well worth the cost. All of my tees are slowly being replaced with Three Dots (and not just the British tee). And yes, they do run a bit small, but I read the reviews first and knew to buy a size up from my usual - perfect fit.

These are nice quality, thick t-shirts that are great with jeans or dressed up with pants and heels. They are very slimming and never bunch or ride up around the waist. I have this shirt in dark blue, black and red and I wish I had more!
They are sized small. In most brands I wear a small/6 (Talbots, J Crew, Lands End) but for this I buy the medium and it fits perfectly.

I have purchased several three dot tops...I love the quality of the material. It's thin but thick enough so that you can't see through it. I love the colored t's better than the white one but you always need white..so am very happy with my order. Would I order again...YES...Love Amazon.com...products delivered quickly....
